Foundation Goals:

To provide a focus for Prostate Cancer advocacy

To promote public awareness of Prostate Cancer

To assist in the formation and operation of Prostate Cancer Support Groups

To facilitate and aid Prostate Cancer research & treatment

To promote co-operation amongst all stakeholders involved in Prostate Cancer

To raise funds from its supporters to enable achievement of the 5 year service goals

Mission Statement

The mission of Prostate Cancer Foundation BC is to "improve knowledge, prevention and treatment of Prostate Cancer".

For 2011 our priorities include:

Increase research funding for treatment & prevention; achieve free PSA testing in B.C.

Expand public awareness of Prostate Cancer; advance content and distribution of ProCanSupport Newsletter

Develop closer relationships with support groups throughout the province

Improve Reef Knot Kit and a broader distribution to doctors and patients

Grow the National Father’s Day Walk/Run for Prostate Cancer in B.C. including new locations and sponsors

Add new events including the Westcoast Ride to Live, Walk in the Park and the Hair Affair
